great loss and accountability, I remembered God and earnestly prayed that He would send me help. Immediately the door opened, and a man entered the room. When the people all left it, and he, having a dirt brush in his hand, opened the windows and began to brush the dirt and rubbish from the room. I cried to him to forbear, for there were some precious jewels scattered among the rubbish. He told me, Fear not, for He would take care of them. Then while he brushed the dirt and rubbish, false jewels and counterfeit coin all rose and went out of the window like a cloud, and the wind carried them away. In the bustle I closed my eyes for a moment when I opened them. The rubbish was all gone. The precious jewels, the diamonds, and the gold and silver coins lay scattered in profusion all over the room. He then placed on the table a casket, much larger and more beautiful than before, and gathered up the jewels, the diamonds, and the coins by the handful and cast them into the casket, till not one was left, although some of the diamonds were not bigger than the point of a pin. And if you look at, I assume James White is the one that gives the dialogue on what is symbolized by this dream. He says the casket was the truth that William Miller came to understand in his studies, and the key that was attached to the casket was his use of prophetic principles. That was the key that unlocked these truths. And, of course, the jewels and the precious coins were the people that were brought into the Advent message. And he continues in his description of this to very specifically describe this dream about the history associated with the Advent movement during the Midnight Cry. He speaks about the movements that William Miller was involved in from 1840 to 1844. And then he speaks about the confusion that comes in after the Great Disappointment, and he specifies that it was the former brethren who had once been united with Miller that had began to bring in false teaching, reapplying the time prophecies, calling the movement of the Midnight Cry hypnotism, and other errors. And then he gets to the end of the dream and begins to identify that there was going to be a present truth that's brought to bear that was going to...
