in the history of the church. God requires of his people works of faith and obedience corresponding to the blessings and privileges bestowed. Obedience requires a sacrifice and involves a cross, and this is why so many of the professed followers of Christ refused to receive the light from heaven, and like the Jews of old, knew not the time of their visitation. Because of their pride and unbelief, the Lord passed them by and revealed his truth to those who, like the shepherds of Bethlehem and the Eastern Magi, had given heed to the light they received. Who's she talking about there? She's talking about the foolish virgins in 1844. But what did we just read? That was fulfilled to the very letter in that time period, and it will be fulfilled again to the very letter. In our time period, some of us are gonna be foolish virgins and not know the hour of our visitation, not know that the message is here. Brothers and sisters, if you've been to these meetings or if you're listening to this on tape or on videotape, and you can't see that it's impossible for somebody to have written the things that we've been reading 120 years ago, and see them coming to pass in the world and the United States today, then you're missing the hour of your visitation because it is coming to pass. And that demands, the whole punchline of this is it demands, if we understand that, to bring our character in agreement with that truth, which is that probation is about to close, and that we must have a character prepared for that event. Now, we'll bring this, that is the close of the hour of his visitation. Minute man, minute man.
