and not to be surprised and overtaken. He shall glorify Me, for He shall receive of Mine and shall show it unto you. And what is He? I am the Truth and the Spirit of Truth. He takes what is His and shows it to us. Then when the Spirit of Truth takes only that which is the Lord's, and that is all He will ever show to us, He does not stand out independently and do great things of Himself, just as Jesus did not do that, but yielded everything that the Father might move and work in Him. So the Holy Spirit, in His place, does the same things as Jesus did exactly. He does not show of Himself, but finds what God told to Jesus and tells that to you and Me. So He gives us the Truth of God, as it is in Jesus. He is the God of Truth. All things that the Father hath are Mine. Therefore, said I, that He shall take of Mine and shall show it unto you.
