a full conclusion one way or another against Christ are going to have to not only decide against Sabbath and Sunday or for Sabbath and Sunday, they're going to have the influence of Satan personating Christ and the influence of Christ himself as represented in his people. And this continues, according to Sister White, until human probation closes. And then there's no reason for Satan's personation of Christ to be carried on any longer because everyone's made their decision. Now in this chapter this brother refers to, even in the chapter itself in the Great Controversy dealing with the time of trouble, if you're accurate about your reading you can see that it doesn't hold up even in that very chapter itself. On page 624 is where the paragraph that we're probably all familiar with begins. It says, As the crowning act in the great drama of deception, Satan himself will personate Christ. And this paragraph continues down all the way into the next page, page 625, and it's clearly identifying Satan's personation of Christ. And then the next paragraph, the first full paragraph on the page of 625 Great Controversy says this. Now remember it's speaking about Satan personating Christ. But the people of God will not be misled. The teachings of this false Christ are not in accordance with the Scriptures. His blessing is pronounced upon the worshippers of the beast and his image, the very class whom the Bible declares that God's unmingled wrath shall be poured out. Now that paragraph says this. God's people, when Satan is personating Christ, they won't be misled because what he's saying doesn't agree with Scripture. And most specifically, the part that doesn't agree with Scripture is that this false Christ, Satan personating Christ, he's going to be placing a blessing upon the people that are worshipping the beast and his image. But the last phrase in the last sentence of that paragraph tells it all. It says this is the class whom the Bible declares that God's unmingled wrath shall be poured out. See, at this time period when Satan is doing this and God's faithful people are recognizing it as falsehood because it disagrees with the Bible, those that worship the beast and the image are identified here as people that shall later on receive the wrath of God. Now if you just turn the page to 627, this same phraseology is used.
