Shall we begin with a word of prayer? Heavenly Father, at this time we invite your presence through your angels and your Holy Spirit to be here. With this study, we ask that the words spoken would be only words that would honor and glorify you, and words that would convey the message for this hour. I ask that your spirit would also enlighten those that may hear this presentation on audio tape to understand what is in here correctly. And I ask that you give us a ready mind and a willingness to test the things that we hear with your word and see if they're so, in Jesus' name, amen. At this time, we're going to begin another presentation connected with the last vision of Daniel, Daniel chapter 10 through 12, and we're going to take up the time prophecies in Daniel chapter 12, the 1260, the 1290, and the 1335. We have addressed this subject in other presentations that we've did, and in this year, year 2002, we've addressed this particular study in our February issue. I would encourage those of you who haven't received the February issue, if you got on our mailing list after that time, you might consider that. That issue is virtually totally about those within Adventism that seek to place these predictions at the end of the world. And because of this, I may not spend as much time dealing with some of those false concepts, but rather just walk through the true presentation, the presentation the pioneers understood, and then look at the counsel that Sister White had in connection with some of the themes in Daniel chapter 12. In our presentation that we're dealing with now, What Shall Befall Thy People?, at one point we took time to go through and show that the book of Daniel defines itself what the time of the end is. If you look at Daniel chapter 8 very carefully, and Daniel chapter 11, and here as well in Daniel chapter 12, and you look at the places where Daniel is talking about the end of a time prophecy, he may call it the time of the end, he may call it the time appointed, or he may simply call it the end. These phrases in the book of Daniel are interchangeable, and they define the end of a time prophecy. Therefore, when you come to Daniel chapter 12, and you begin to see Daniel associated with something that's going to take place in the time of the end, that's a correct understanding based on the time of the end.
