evangelism and so I'll share that with you here and we'll get to a point in this study where we defend that when we get down to Daniel 12 but brothers and sisters the as I told him the 1335 the pioneers the 1335 days of Daniel 12 12 the pioneers understood came to fulfillment in 1843 so why is that a blessing to reach 1843 and my understanding on this goes as follows one of the things in Adventism that doesn't seem to be dwelt on enough is the role that God's church plays at the end of time and God's church at the end of time I'm not so much speaking about the church militant where the wheat and tares are together still struggling with what the wheat and tare church struggles with but there comes a time period where God's church is purified and this is this is touched upon throughout the prophets of the Bible and when God's church is purified some of the passages and scriptures speak in a very general sense about the church and what it's doing when it is the church triumphant but sometimes it gets more specific about the the members of the church and this is where the understanding of the hundred and forty four thousand comes in and the reality of scriptures for me is that at a time period in Earth's history God intended to raise up the hundred and forty four thousand finish the work and go home and not only had God spoke about the church triumphant the hundred and forty four thousand throughout scriptures but he actually identified in Bible prophecy when the time would come when God was going to begin to raise up this body of people that we call the hundred and forty four thousand from Revelation 7 and brothers and sisters that time period the process that brings the hundred and forty four thousand together began in earnest in 1843 and if you go back and look at what took place in 1843 the first disappointment that took place prior to the great disappointment of October 22nd 1844 if you look at that first disappointment sister white and the pioneers are clear but sister white's more specific more authoritative on this subject that first disappointment was designed by God it was a disappointment that was designed by God in the same way that the the test of Gideon's men was designed by God it was a test that was to purify the people that
