milling this that don't have the overview that would have been nice if we were going to understand some of the things that we're going to address at this time. This tape has been the most difficult one that we've ever did in terms of just technically getting it done. Two days before I went to the camp meetings in Columbia I had this tape recorded and when we began to reproduce it we seen it had a an echo chamber in it so the hour before I left for Columbia I did the tape again and when I returned home the day before yesterday I found out that it too had an echo chaper and I've spent the last day at least getting equipment fixed and set up where we can try it again and actually did try it once and it didn't it didn't take and this is the one that I believe is everything's working correctly at this point. Providentially I believe because of the first two tapes we couldn't use we had to wait to make this tape in order to send it out with this newsletter and while in Columbia I came to understand some things about what are going on down there that I'll go ahead and share here at the beginning of this presentation. It has a little bit of bearing with the study later on though it's not directly related to the study but of the countries that I've had the privilege and responsibility to share this message with through the years I've been to Columbia more than any other than the United States and every time I've been down there every time I've seen some sort of violence one time from a freeway I seen a man getting kicked to death now I don't know that he died but the man that was doing the kicking was certainly trying to make it happen we were too far away to intervene in any way on a freeway in a taxi cab that wouldn't have stopped anyway. One time in Medellin we were walking across the street in the middle of the street just a massive amount of automatic gunfire opened up and it was just a block and a half away where a group of men with automatic weapons went into a bank to rob it and the army and police that were in the bank opened up with their automatic weapon and shot them all dead but in the meantime bullets were flying everywhere. I had a sister come to me one time and when we came to a little town to do meetings the very first hour we were there she came and through a translator told me that the day before her husband had died and the reason her husband had died is the week before that the guerrillas had come to the husband and the wife and said that their son owed the guerrillas a large amount of money and their son had ran away and hidden and that because they can't find the son that the mother and father have to pay the debt and they have one week to raise
