As important as that is, it doesn't tell us, okay, it's about to happen, whereas, verse 40 of Daniel 11 says, among other things, here's a point in history where the United States forms an alliance with the Vatican, a denial of their Protestant heritage. Verse 40 says all that, and it says that the next thing to happen is verse 41, a Sunday law in the United States. Brothers and sisters, these verses are talking about the Sunday law in the United States, but they're not talking about the Sunday law in terms of sometime in the future there'll be a Sunday law. They're saying the process that brings about the Sunday law is underway, and the next thing to happen is the Sunday law in the United States. It's in perfect agreement with Revelation 13, but it's the type of knowledge, when correctly understood, allows an Adventist to understand that the next thing that's going to happen is that their probation's about to close, and that they have to finish the work of character development or they're going to find themselves with the mark of the beast instead of the seal of God in the very near future. This type of information is what prepares God's people to stand in the latter days. It's information from the book of Daniel on the Sunday law. And brothers and sisters, if you go back into chapter 10 now, one more time, and you look at the illustration, the parable that is set forth by Daniel in chapter 10 that is part of his last vision, what he's saying is, from verse 4 onward in Daniel 12, the Millerite movement, the beginning of Adventism is illustrated. The first time the parable of the ten virgins came to pass. But chapter 10 here, this is the final time the parable of the ten virgins is fulfilled. This is the part of Adventism that we know as the remnant or the 144,000 that received the latter rain and proclaimed the loud cry message. This is them. And as Daniel illustrates these people at the end of the world, from verse 2 and onward, he's portrayed as having victory over his appetite. His mental attitude is one of mourning, sighing and crying for the abominations that are done in the church. He has a personal revelation of Jesus Christ. And the issue of that personal revelation reaches a shaking where those that reject receiving that revelation flee from those that receive that revelation. And the premier is terms of amount of information thing that these people understand is they understand how the great controversy fits into truth. But there's another thing that these people understand. And it's found in verse 1 of Daniel 10.
