The last six verses of Daniel 11 begin with verse 40 and the collapse of the Soviet Union, and that took place in 1989, and brothers and sisters, there were people that understood that verse correctly before 1989, but their understanding wasn't received, it wasn't multiplied, and primarily, by and large, no one in Adventism had a sure understanding of verse 40 until we seen it confirmed in the collapse of the Soviet Union in 1989, and then suddenly, everything we understood about truth became present truth. We understood there comes a time in Earth's history when the United States began to command the whole world to worship the beasts of Catholicism, but the United States never had the ability to do that until the Soviet Union collapsed and the United States stood alone as the lone superpower. Suddenly, what we've been preaching is truth becomes present truth. We knew the United States was Protestant America, but sometimes it would become apostate Protestantism, fulfilling its role as the false prophet of Revelation 16 that leads the world to Armageddon. That's always been truth, but when it formed an alliance, the United States, with the Vatican to bring down the Soviet Union in the 1980s, in fulfillment of verse 40 of Daniel 11, it certainly began its role as apostate Protestantism because it's impossible to be a Protestant and have an alliance with Rome. That verse turned what we understood as truth into present truth, and that verse alerted us that the next thing to happen was the close of probation. This is the type of information that Sister White said would be increased and prepare God's people to stand and prepare God's people to stand because with this fearful message being recognized by them through prophecy, the faithful, the wise, finish the work of character development through the power of the Holy Spirit. The Bible says the Lord God will do nothing except He will reveal it through His servants, the prophets. Do we think that we would approach the Sunday Law when probation closes on Adventism and the Lord would not forewarn us through prophecy? Where's the forewarning? Revelation 13 is not the forewarning. Revelation 13 is just describing the role of the United States, but it doesn't tell us when and where. Daniel 11, 40 and 41 tells us when and where. Verse 40, it's all beginning to happen now in 1989. That's what verse 40 is saying. And verse 41 is saying the next thing to happen is the Sunday Law in the United States. And in the meantime, look at the current events. Look at what's going on at this very time period that we're talking about. George Bush telling the whole world you're either for us or against us. George Bush is communicating on a regular basis with the Vatican for instructions on how he should relate to his world programs.
