Daniel 12 1 at that time human probation closes and I would suggest that it's illustrated here in verse 40 45 we see the papacy with its war tense in the middle of two entities the people of the world who were the intended recipients of a message symbolizes tidings from the east and north that had been being proclaimed from God's people the glorious holy mountain the glorious holy mountain had been proclaiming this message that enraged the papacy and he was the papacy was attempting to block the message by standing in its way preventing it from being heard and received by the people of the world and in this scene of spiritual warfare human probation comes to a close and this is where the papacy comes to its end and none shall help brothers and sisters this is a message a prophetic message that does not detract or undermine or change the very message of the hour in any way the very message of the hour for Seventh-day Adventist the message that we've been raised up to proclaim is the third angels message a warning against receiving the mark of the beast this passage of scripture is an agreement with that but what this passage of scripture does is it for warns God's people that the time period when the message that we've been raised up to proclaim is going to become a living reality we're forewarned in verse 40 that it's beginning we're forewarned in one sense that we see a history fulfilled that isn't a vague or obscure history the collapse of the Soviet Union perhaps has to be one of the top histories of the last century and here it is portrayed in verse 40 a history so well publicized that God's people were are without excuse for not recognizing the history and associating it with this verse this history also alerts us to the truth that the United States has reached a point where it's beginning to fulfill its role not as Protestant America but as apostate Protestantism it's fulfilling its role as the false prophet and the next thing to happen is the Sunday law in the United States brothers and sisters this message brings with it the solemn reality that probation is about to close and this message by bringing that truth portrayed in the symbols of these verses by bringing that to God's people what it tells us is that we must finish the work of character development
