In that line of prophetic history, which is the closing history of the earth beast of Revelation thirteen, there is an internal line that addresses God’s people as represented by the horn of true Protestantism, and there is an external line as represented by the horn of Republicanism. In both horns there is a twofold struggle and controversy that prophecy addresses. We have been identifying the prophetic elements of the dragon, the beast, the false prophet and Islam that are manifested in the history of 1989 to the Sunday law.

These three powers come together into a threefold union, but they actually hate each other. “Ang tawo sa sala naghunahuna sa pag-usab sa mga panahon ug sa mga balaod; apan nahimo ba niya kini? Mao kini ang dakong isyu. Ang Roma ug ang tanang mga iglesia nga nakainom sa copa sa iyang kasal-anan, sa ilang paghunahuna sa pag-usab sa mga panahon ug sa mga balaod, nagpahitaas sa ilang kaugalingon labaw sa Dios, ug gigun-ob ang dakong handumanan sa Dios, ang Igpapahulay sa ikapitong adlaw. Ang Igpapahulay gituyo nga magpabilin nga nagrepresentar sa gahum sa Dios diha sa iyang paglalang sa kalibotan sulod sa unom ka adlaw, ug sa iyang pagpahulay sa ikapitong adlaw. ‘Busa iyang gipanalanginan ang adlaw nga Igpapahulay, ug gibalaan kini,’ tungod kay niini siya nagpahulay gikan sa tanan niyang mga buhat nga gibuhat ug gihimo sa Dios. Ang tumong sa hanas nga paglihok sa dakong maglilimbong mao ang pagpuli sa Dios. Sa iyang mga paningkamot sa pag-usab sa mga panahon ug sa mga balaod, nagbuhat siya aron sa pagmintinar sa usa ka gahum nga supak sa Dios, ug labaw kaniya.”
“Here is the great issue. Here are the two great powers confronting each other,—the Prince of God, Jesus Christ; and the prince of darkness, Satan. Here comes the open conflict. There are but two classes in the world, and every human being will range under one of these two banners,—the banner of the prince of darkness, or the banner of Jesus Christ.
“Ania ang dakong isyu. Ania ang duruha ka dagkong gahum nga nagaatbangay sa usag usa,—ang Prinsipe sa Dios, si Jesu-Cristo; ug ang prinsipe sa kangitngit, si Satanas. Ania na ang dayag nga panag-away. Aduna lamang duruha ka hut-ong dinhi sa kalibotan, ug ang matag tawo mopahimutang ilalom sa usa niining duruha ka bandila,—ang bandila sa prinsipe sa kangitngit, o ang bandila ni Jesu-Cristo.
“God will inspire his loyal and true children with his Spirit. The Holy Spirit is the representative of God, and will be the mighty working agent in our world to bind the loyal and true into bundles for the Lord’s garner. Satan is also with intense activity gathering together in bundles his tares from among the wheat.
“Ang Dios magadasig sa Iyang matinumanon ug matuod nga mga anak pinaagi sa Iyang Espiritu. Ang Espiritu Santo mao ang representante sa Dios, ug mao ang gamhanang ahente nga magabuhat dinhi sa atong kalibotan aron hugpogon ngadto sa mga binugkos ang mga matinumanon ug matuod alang sa tipiganan sa Ginoo. Si Satanas usab, uban sa mabaskog nga kalihokan, nagatigum ngadto sa mga binugkos sa iyang mga sagbot gikan sa taliwala sa trigo.
“The teaching of every true ambassador for Christ is a most solemn, serious matter now. We are engaged in a warfare which will never close until the final decision is made for all eternity. Let every disciple of Jesus be reminded that we ‘wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.’ O, there are eternal interests involved in this conflict, and there must be no surface work, no cheap experience, to meet this issue. ‘The Lord knoweth how to deliver the godly out of temptation, and to reserve the unjust unto the day of judgment to be punished….
