ነሐሴ 11, 1840 እስከ ጥቅምት 22, 1844 ድረስ ያለው ታሪክ፣ የምሕረት ጊዜ ከመዘጋቱ በፊት በቅርብ ጊዜ ድረስ ታትሞ የነበሩትን ሰባቱን ነጐድጓዶች የሚወክል ታሪክ መሆኑ ታይቷል። በዚህ ጽሑፍ ውስጥ ስለ ሰባቱ ነጐድጓዶች ምሳሌያዊ አቀራረብ የለየነውን አንዳንድ ነገር በመከለስ መጀመር እፈልጋለሁ። እነዚህን እውነቶች ለማቅረብ ታሪካዊ መስመሮችን በታሪካዊ መስመሮች ላይ እንጠቀማለን። ከነሐሴ 11, 1840 እስከ ጥቅምት 22, 1844 ድረስ እና ይህንንም ቀን ጨምሮ አራት ትንቢታዊ መለያ ምልክቶች አሉ፤ የመጀመሪያው መልአክ መልእክት መበርታት፣ የመጀመሪያው ተስፋ መቁረጥ፣ የእኩለ ሌሊት ጩኸት፣ እና ታላቁ ተስፋ መቁረጥ።
